New Healthy Bakes

Easy Scone mixes for you to make at home!
The Summer Kitchen Girls got me going on this! I want to get everyone in the kitchen this winter to enjoy these. These are so easy to make Karla's 10 year old daughter Sofie did it!
So far we've got Pistachio & Fig, Gingerbread, Cranberry Orange, Classic Cream, Carrot Cake, Hazelnut-Chocolate Chip & even a savory Santa Fe scone mix with more savory flaves coming soon. All made with flaxseed meal and unbleached flour, organic sugar and wholesome dried fruits & nuts. I am going to be working on some gluten free mixes too.
Don't forget the Tea or Hot cocoa!

The little Italian Cookie is Huge!

The Biscotti options out there are endless!
I had to narrow down the menu by picking the most popular flavors and then using my kitchen for another throw-down I created a healthy but delicious treat! These are not tiny cookies either!
Once again Butter, I win!

Shadow shot #2

The fields are resting now

and the sky is cloudy grey

I wait for snow to fill the ground

to make a winter day.

Did somebody say CHEESECAKE?

Ooolala look at these!

Turtle & New York Yummo!
To make these baby's guiltfree I use Neufchatel cheese and no heavy cream. The crust has flaxseed meal and less sugar.
Warning: These do not taste healthy!

Breakfast for beginners

What did you start eating for breakfast when you were old enough to get it yourself?
I'm thinking that most kids today woof down a pop tart, and the teens skip breakfast, adults danish & coffee. Wait a minute that's what my generation did! Why is it that we don't eat after we've been asleep for 6-8 hours. Shouldnt we be hungry after that amount of time has passed.
I wonder how we went from eating as babies wholesome oatmeals & rice cereals to just a cup of java?
